Mountains, beaches, hiking trails, history, the Virginia Wine Trail, incredible breweries all within a short drive. We are seeking a full time veterinarian to join our team. We are obsessed with work-life balance and offer highly competitive salaries commensurate with experience but ranging from 90-120k. We offer 40 hour or less work weeks, 3 weeks PTO, 1 Saturday a month and no after hour emergencies. We have an amazing, beloved staff that include one LVT and 2 LVT students (one is about to graduate!) and are actively hiring another LVT. We have very low turnover with most of our staff tenures being well over 5 years. We have multiple incredible referral and emergency hospitals in the area as well. Benefits include 401k, Health, Paid Dues/Licenses, 3 weeks PTO, Paid CE up to $500 and 2 additional days off for CE. There is also a possibility of buy in. We are well equipped with Digital Radiography, Digital Dental Radiology, dedicated surgery and dental suites, Idexx in-house lab, Tonopen, Doppler Blood Pressure and Ultrasound. We are excited for the opportunity to mentor, if need be, and learn from whomever we hire. Being semi-rural, there are additional expertise areas that can be explored if the applicant desires such as pet poultry, exotics, etc. These are not required though.
