*This role offers a compensation structure that includes a base salary in addition to commission*

Requirements
Responsibilities:
As a Full-Time Veterinarian at Dongan Hills Veterinary Practice and Integrative Wellness Center, your responsibilities will include:
Providing comprehensive medical and surgical care to a variety of animal patients.
Performing physical examinations, diagnosing illnesses, and developing appropriate treatment plans.
Administering vaccinations, medications, and treatments.
Performing surgical procedures, ranging from routine to more complex cases.
Providing preventative care counseling, including nutrition, behavior, and parasite control.
Maintaining accurate and thorough medical records.
Communicating effectively with clients, providing education and support regarding their pet's health.
Collaborating effectively with veterinary technicians, assistants, and other team members.
Staying current with the latest advancements in veterinary medicine through continued education.
Adhering to all ethical and professional standards of veterinary practice.
Participating in staff meetings and contributing to the overall success of the clinic.
Qualifications:
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an accredited institution.
Valid and active license to practice veterinary medicine in the state of New York.
Strong diagnostic and surgical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
A compassionate and caring attitude towards animals and their owners.
A commitment to providing high-quality veterinary care.
