We are pleased to be looking for one or more veterinarians to join us in our rapidly expanding practice located deep in the heart of Maine's mountains. We offer the experience of working and living in one of America's most scenic areas. While we are currently a small animal practice, the potential exists to practice large animal medicine as well.
Our facility is newly renovated and is well equipped, including digital radiography, state-of-the-art ultrasound and a full diagnostic lab, all integrated with cloud-based practice management software. More than that, though, we encourage each of our doctors in career-long professional growth. We provide mentoring to the new grad from a long-time practitioner with decades of teaching experience; we support all of our practitioners in continuing education and encourage them to develop their individual career objectives; we can also offer a relaxed practice atmosphere to the experienced vet who wants to slow down and smell the roses or schuss the slopes!
Kingfield Maine is a small town located in beautiful Carrabassett Valley. Our practice is across the road from the Carrabassett River and a short lunchtime hike from gorgeous Reed Brook Falls. We are situated in an area full of lakes, rivers, and mountains presenting limitless hiking, biking, boating, skiing, hunting, fishing and golfing opportunities.
Our benefit package includes housing (if desired) in a newly renovated apartment, adjustable schedule, malpractice and health insurance, a generous employee discount, professional license, fees, matching 401K, CE funding, and profit sharing. Salary is commensurate with experience.
Have or be able to obtain a Maine veterinary license.
