All Valley Animal Care Center is looking to add a Practice Manager to their amazing emergency team!!!

The Practice Manager, under direction of the regional support team, is responsible for leading the hospital in setting and achieving business, financial, and operational goals. Strong team building skills and the ability to support and hold employees accountable is of the highest priority in leading this hospital.

Job Duties:
- Communicates the practice's values and mission to the team. Essential in motivating staff and maintaining team morale.
- Initiates and leads programs to improve revenue, client retention, and employee performance.
- Works with Operation and Finance teams in managing budgets, making informed decisions to ensure hospital meets annual revenue and EBITDA targets.
- Leads Clinical Manager team responsible for daily department operations, scheduling, and team development.
- Partners with Medical Director to grow practice through strategic planning, implementation and change management.
- Essential in recruiting, training staff, on-boarding new employees, employee growth, development and accountability including termination.
- Accountable for an inventory control system to ensure adequate stocks of supplies are available. Plans for periodic inventory audits and counts.
- Accountable for controlled substance inventory and management.
- Supervises all maintenance activities to ensure that hospital medical standards are met.
- Promotes a client-centered environment, includes resolving challenging client problems.
- Performs Office Manager functions includes planning team meetings, inform team of important details in a timely manner, and ensure that all procedures are followed.
Knowledge or Experience in:
- Budgeting and financial reporting, reading and analyzing a P&L statement.
- Multifunctional operations including budget and labor management.
- Leading, managing, and coaching staff at all levels.
- Human Resource (HR) policies and protocol.
- Basic computer skills.
- Veterinary ER workflow
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field, or equivalent work experience is preferred.
- 2+ years of veterinary management experience
- ER or Specialty veterinary practice management experience.
- Availability to occasionally work uncommon hours and to be subject to recall for business emergencies.
