The Department of Clinical Sciences at Colorado State University seeks applications for a 12-month non-tenure track Instructor or Assistant Professor in Avian, Exotic, and Zoological (AEZ) Medicine.
This position will support both clinical and didactic teaching in the DVM program, graduate student/resident and fellow training, and research in the area of non-traditional species. The position will provide up to 38 weeks of clinical service in the Veterinary Teaching Hospital (VTH). Numerous opportunities for independent and collaborative research exist throughout the department, college and university.

Required Job Qualifications:
Instructor:
· DVM or equivalent veterinary professional degree.
· Board eligibility in the American College of Zoological Medicine (ACZM) or the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners (ABVP) or equivalent experience.
· Demonstrated ability to work with others in a team atmosphere.
Assistant Professor:
· DVM or equivalent veterinary professional degree.
· Diplomate status in the American College of Zoological Medicine (ACZM) or Diplomate status in the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners (ABVP) in avian, reptile/amphibian, and/or exotic companion mammal specialties
· Demonstrated ability to work with others in a team atmosphere.
Preferred Job Qualifications:
Instructor:
· 1 or more years of experience in the instruction of veterinary students
Assistant Professor:
· 3 or more years of experience in the instruction of veterinary students and residents
