Endless Mountains Veterinary Center, PC is seeking Licensed Veterinary Technicians to fill openings in our Owego, NY location.

Under the supervision of a Head Veterinary Assistant, the Licensed Veterinary Technician role will fulfill both technical and customer service needs of the clinic. The specifics of the role includes, but is not limited to the following:

• Preparing, reconstituting, and drawing up of medications and vaccines, performing laboratory and diagnostic tests, and explaining a medical condition or medication to pet owners.
• Assisting in surgery and other procedures.
• Drawing blood, placing IV catheters, taking radiographs (both digital and manual) and running in-house diagnostic tests.
• Many routine tasks such as laundry, washing and autoclaving surgical instruments, general cleaning and housekeeping.
• Packing and mailing out test materials.
• Maintenance of patient records.
• Educating clients on products and services available and assisting with client questions.
• Accurate completion of paperwork for inventory maintenance.
• Other duties as assigned
