Animal Care Clinic of Randall Pointe, located in South Elgin, IL, is looking for a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join our growing team! All our doctors have various interests, which we encourage and support! Our team loves mentoring and teaching, so new graduates are welcome to apply. 

About our clinic: Animal Care Clinic of Randall Pointe is full-service, newly remodeled, small animal hospital that treats dogs, cats, and our associate, Dr. Christine Wilmes, sees a variety of exotics, including small mammals, reptile, and avian species. Our hospital is fully equipped with an in-house lab, digital radiography, digital dental radiography, Tonovet, and ultrasound (2019 model). Dr. Marissa Katt has an interest in imaging and does most of our diagnostic ultrasounds and Dr. Wes Simek is currently receiving additional training in ultrasound and echocardiograms. We are paperless and use eVet/Covetrus Pulse for our electronic medical records. Most importantly, we have a well-trained and well-utilized support staff. They are empowered to do everything they are trained to do.

Our medical director, Dr. Andrea Belcher has a passion for surgery and performs a large variety of routine and advanced soft tissue surgeries, orthopedic surgeries, and dentistry. She is trained in the TTA procedure, lateral suture, patellar repair, FHOs, and amputations and usually performs 3-4 orthopedic surgeries per week. Our surgery suite contains a hydraulic, heated surgical table, suction, orthopedic equipment, and monitoring equipment. We also have cold laser, which can be used post-op. Pre-operative lab work, IV catheter, and IV fluids are required for every anesthetic patient.

At ACC of Randall Pointe, we have worked very hard to create an easy-going, compassionate team and are looking for a candidate who will support and embrace our collaborative environment. We value an attitude of constant improvement and the willingness to foster the family atmosphere we have built. The predictable schedule and flexible nature of the team allows for a healthy work/life balance.

Our practice is open Monday – Friday, 8 am to 7 pm, with a 90-minute lunch break mid-day, Saturdays, 8 am to 2 pm, and Sunday, 10 am to 1 pm. The schedule is 3 ½ weekdays per week, every other Saturday, and one Sunday per month. There are no on-call responsibilities, because we have three emergency clinics within 20 minutes.
