Associate Veterinarian - Now Hiring
San Diego, California
We are recruiting for our veterinary hospital in San Diego and we’re thrilled for you to be a part of it! Currently working elsewhere? We get it - the vet community is small. We’re devoted to a confidential & positive experience.
We know you’re busy, so let’s cut to the chase. We’re team oriented and collaborative at every level, and employee retention & happiness is our focus — we take care of our vets so you can take care of the pets you see daily. You’ll have technicians who average completing 70% of lab callbacks and nurses in room with you to complete estimates. You’ll have access to the best technology, a warm and welcoming clinic environment. Above all, you’ll be supported: mentally, physically and financially
About Our Hospital:
Quality of Life:
- Employer contributed health insurance, and more.
- Flexible schedule - you’ll have 3 days off every week, so you can have “me” time without digging into PTO.
- Great PTO for when you need that too. (Hawaii, anyone?)
- Best-in-class compensation to uplift all areas of your life.
- Opportunities for growth into leadership positions, commensurate with experience.
You'll be a great fit for our future team if you:
- Believe in thoughtful, compassionate, ethical care
- Thrive in an amazing team culture
- Are a positive-minded person and radiate good energy
- Are as obsessed with pets as we are
Positive Work Culture:
- Direct communication with leadership and influence over policies. If you’re thoughtful, we’re listening — let’s build a better vet practice together.
- One 60-min lunch break and one 30-min break for catching up on notes, and any necessary procedures.
- Great staffing ratios so you’re never stuck holding a cat while examining a dog while calculating a dosage while shouting “hello?” into an empty hallway.
- We have your back - we don’t tolerate poor behavior from clients.
“We’re looking for individuals who are not just team players, but also leaders. If you’ve made it this far, you’re probably looking for something different than what’s already out there. So are we — apply now.”
