Central Providence Veterinary Hospital seeks a dedicated veterinarian to provide great care and client service to clients in the Charlotte, NC area. We have a great schedule and generous pay in a fantastic place to live & work with excellent schools!
We have a great reputation for quality medicine and surgery in an easily accessible and laid-back work environment. If you are looking to do good work and enjoy the process, finishing by 5:00pm with either a 4 day work week or a long 4-day weekend once a month, this may just be the place for you!
This position is for a primary 2nd veterinarian. 2-3 other vets rotate through 1-2 days a week to support additional appointment times and surgery schedule. If you love surgery, it is available. If not, we've got you covered!
Associate Veterinarian Compensation Package (negotiable):
- Salary 105K to 140K / Year (based on experience and past production)
- Medical, Vision, Dental Benefits
- 36-Hour Average Work Week with NO Saturdays
- Generous time off – 4-day long weekend each month (OR a 4 day work week)
- No Emergencies or Overnight Care
- No boarding
- Ownership opportunity available after 1 year
- Continuing Education Allowance ($1500/yr)
- Contract Flexibility (Pro-Sal, Salary or Production)

- License Fees, Membership (AVMA and NCVMA) and DEA Fees
Practice Profile:
- Digital radiographs
- Full IDEXX labs
- Fully Stocked Pharmacy
- Friendly Experienced team to assist Veterinarians (min 4:1 ratio, often 6:1)
- Avimark Paper lite (transitioning to paperless)
- Consulting ultrasonographer for studies at our facility
- Consulting surgeons for cruciates and complicated soft tissue procedures come to our facility
- Nearby specialists including ophthalmology and dentistry
- We are updating equipment and offerings – just let us know what you want / need and we’ll make it happen!
- Leasehold location close to grocery, shops and gym so you can get things done over lunch and not have to do them at the end of the day!
Additional Details / Information
- At least one year of experience is required for this position
- Typical patient profile: 60% well visits / 40% visits. 80% canine / 20% feline. No exotics currently, but open to adding them.
