Laurelton Bayside Animal Hospital is looking for an Associate Veterinarian to join our team! We are seeking a full-time commitment, but part time employment would be considered.
Laurelton Bayside is a dynamic, well-established small animal hospital in western New York near the beautiful Finger Lakes. We practice the highest quality medicine and surgery, which has allowed us to build a well-educated and loyal clientele. At Laurelton Bayside we have an amazingly skilled, long tenured and experienced support staff.
Our hospital is fully equipped with:
- New facility and surgery suite
- Digital radiography
- Digital dental radiography
- In house ultrasonographer every week
- In-house laboratory
- Access to orthopedic surgeon as needed
- Excellent relationship with a nearby emergency and specialty hospital
- NO overnight or on-call shifts are required.
We are seeking a veterinarian that is energetic, friendly, and team oriented. Experience is preferred, but we would welcome the right new graduate. We will encourage and support a special focus or area of interest.

Schedule:

How you'll make an impact:
- Maintain and uphold the Core Values and Mission Statement of MVP.
- Diagnose, perform surgery, and treat patients.?
- Maintain excellent client communication.?
- Record all pertinent medical, client and case related information in the patient record accurately with appropriate grammar, terms, and accurate information.?
- Review medical records, estimates or discharge instructions with clients.?
- Call clients for follow up and to discuss results.?
- Set standards of care/protocols for medical and surgical areas.
- Maintain practice growth and review financial reports.?
- Communicate clearly and accurately through written and verbal interactions.?
- Work in collaboration with practice manager for administrative management.?
- Deal with clients in a manner that shows sensitivity, tact, and professionalism.
- Mentor team members in the training program for career advancement and personal development towards goals.
- Provide feedback and changes to the training program.
- Provide guidance to the support staff to assure that the shift flows well.
- Provide input to the hospital manager for?360-degree?employee performance evaluations.
