Wyomissing Animal Hospital (WAH) has been providing for pets in the greater Reading and Wyomissing area for over 20 years! The hospital consists of six doctors and 50 staff members who are dedicated to providing professional and loving care to all clients and their pets.

We are currently seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join our growing client and referral base. Our hospital offers both in-house and outside laboratory capabilities (Idexx), digital radiology, excellent surgical monitoring capabilities, and improved computer software used throughout the hospital.
Job Responsibilities:
- Builds a rapport with clients
- Communicates with clients on topics such as pet diagnosis, treatment plans, nutritional needs and preventative treatment
- Performs physical exams and diagnostic-surgical-medical and dental procedures that delivers the highest quality care
- Stays current with new medical information and changes in veterinary medicine
- Maintains client-patient medical/surgical records
- Assists in the development of our team to ensure the highest quality of care and exceptional customer service
Qualifications:
- DVM/VMD degree-new grads welcome
- Licensure in good standing
- Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication
- Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine
- Models a professional and courteous manner with staff and clients
- Commitment to ongoing educational growth

Salary Information:
We offer a competitive compensation package which includes a base salary plus commission bonuses, Health package with dental and vision coverage,401k, dues and CE reimbursement.
