Located in the heart of Brandon, Florida (part of the Tampa-St. Petersburg, Clearwater metro area), Brandon Equine Medical Center is a full-service equine veterinary practice. Established in 1995, Brandon Equine Medical Center is the only practice of its kind serving the vicinities of Florida counties: Hillsborough, Pasco, Pinellas, Hernando, Sumter, Citrus, Sarasota, Charlotte, and Manatee. The surgical caseload is heavy sports medicine in addition to elective and emergency surgeries. 

As a member of the Brandon Equine Medical Center Team, you'll work alongside a dedicated, skilled support staff and several experienced equine veterinarians including boarded surgeons and a boarded internist. 

Our ideal candidate is a board certified large animal surgeon or someone who has completed surgical residency.  In regards to on-call responsibilities, they are shared amongst clinicians. We also provide the option of having additional days off the week following a weekend on call.
