Ithaca's historic downtown district includes a gym, six different restaurant choices, large public park with huge kids play-place and a dog park with running trails. In addition, beautiful northern Michigan with its ample hiking, camping, skiing, boating, hunting, and fishing opportunities is also just a short drive to the north. Ithaca also boasts an amazing school system that is nationally recognized, as well as a stellar high school football team.
