Animal Care Group of Lake Oswego/ Parkway Veterinary Hospital, located in Lake Oswego, Oregon, is looking for a full-time Board Certified Veterinary Surgeon to join our team!  Our previous surgeon has recently retired after 35 years of specialty surgery.

**This is a fantastic opportunity if you are looking for full-time, part-time, or would like to rent out a surgical suite within the practice and bring your own team on board!

About our clinic: Animal Care Group of Lake Oswego is a 9,000 square foot state-of-the-art, AAHA accredited, full-service small animal practice, offering the best in medical and surgical care. We primarily treat dogs and cats and two of our associates also treat pocket pets. Our diagnostic equipment includes an in-house Idexx lab, digital radiography, digital dental radiography, ultrasound, and endoscopy. All our radiographs are sent out for review by board-certified radiologists. Several of our doctors are trained in endoscopy and use it routinely. Our medical director, Dr. Gregg Takashima, is certified in acupuncture, allowing us to offer this additional service to our patients. Our hospital also has a fully equipped treatment area with a raised command center enabling 360-degree views of all patients, a recovery area, two isolation areas, two oxygen cages, and a therapeutic laser.

We use Impromed for our electronic medical record software. Most importantly, each doctor is well-supported by our fantastic team of technicians, veterinary assistants, and doctor's assistants, allowing our team to treat almost 100 patients daily. You can take a tour here: ACGLO hospital tour.

Our general practitioner doctors perform a variety of soft tissue surgeries, dentistry, and minimally invasive surgeries, including laparoscopic spays and gastropexies. Our ideal candidate is experienced in orthopedic and soft-tissue surgeries beyond the scope of a general practitioner.
