Salary: Pro-Sal. Our practice is grossing well over four million per year with just three full-time DVM's right now. 90% of that income is derived from production based DVM services. Our current Average Transaction Fee for all transaction types is $315.00 and we see well over 17,000 patient visits per year.
For a hard-working, experienced DVM, the opportunity to make over $200,000.00 per year is quite easily achievable at our hospital. Not only have all of our full-time associates exceeded an annual production-based salary of $200,000.00 per year in the last three years, they have all accomplish this without having to work nights or weekends in addition to enjoying up to a month of paid vacation per year.

The Animal Clinic of Billings and Animal Surgery Clinic is a small animal veterinary hospital centrally located in Billings Montana. The Animal Clinic of Billings has been caring for companion animals since its founding in 1981 by Ken Brown, DVM.
Our website has many detailed pages about us and the services we offer. You can learn more about our practice and team of nearly 30 employees at:

We currently employ three full time DVM's and one relief DVM, but our practice continues to grow and we are looking for one or two more full-time or part-time veterinarians to add to our team. Some weekend and emergency shifts will be required but we pride ourselves on giving our doctors a lot of freedom to construct the schedule that works best for them and their needs. Our patients consist primarily of dogs and cats and we welcome rabbits, ferrets, and other pocket pets.
In addition to general small animal practice care and procedures, we offer advanced orthopedic and spinal surgeries, dental care, advanced imaging with MRI and CT, in-house ultrasound and dental, portable and stationary digital radiography, arthroscopy, endoscopy and a complete in-house laboratory. Additionally, we have a well-established physical rehabilitation clinic providing underwater treadmill, laser, ultrasound, stem cell and PRP in a complete effort to provide the best care for our patients.
We are looking for someone with a great attitude, the ability to work well with others and has the desire to provide a high standard of care to our patients. Recent DVM graduates are welcomed.
We would love to hear from you if you want:
- To provide excellent veterinary care AND enjoy a healthy work life balance.
- To work in a friendly and positive work environment where we treat each other with respect, friendliness and have fun doing what we love.
- To collaborate with experienced, smart doctors who love to share their knowledge, all for the sake of elevating patient care.
- (If you are a new or newer graduate), to seize this wonderful opportunity to work and learn in a progressive, active hospital with experienced veterinarians who would love to mentor and teach a sharp, enthusiastic new graduate.
- To work with a wise, caring, experienced, efficient team of veterinary technicians, assistants, client service coordinators, PRT practitioners, receptionists, marketing coordinators, office and business managers and animal caretakers who also elevate that patient care while making your life easier.
- To work in a modern, well-equipped medical facility with an in house lab, digital x-ray, digital monitoring, endoscopy, ultrasound, MRI, dental equipment/digital x-ray, surgical arthroscopy, PRP and Regenerative Stem Cell Therapy, laser therapy, hydrotherapy, and the opportunity to learn advanced orthopedic and spine procedures alongside our experienced surgeons to name a few.
