Veterinary Referral Center of Colorado (VRCC) is looking for an experienced emergency veterinarian to join our strong team of ER doctors.
VRCC is a 24-hour emergency and specialty hospital located in Englewood, Colorado. VRCC was founded in 1991 and has steadily grown to include members of all specialties, including cardiology, dermatology, dentistry, emergency and critical care, internal medicine, neurology, medical and radiation oncology, ophthalmology, anesthesiology, and surgery.
Our current building is 18,800 square feet and we have officially outgrown it. We have started construction on a new building at River Point and the first phase of construction, which includes our radiation oncology department, is estimated to be completed this fall (2021). The second phase of the building should be completed by summer 2022.
VRCC also has CT, ultrasound, digital radiography, an in house lab, and Antech is just down the street, offering incredibly quick turnaround time on labs and imaging. We have two anesthesiologists, who are available to run anesthesia for unstable cases. We will also be adding a GE LightSpeed RT 16 wide-bore CT scanner in the new building. You can learn more about our hospital at https://www.vrcc.com/.
VRCC is located in beautiful Englewood, CO, which is a suburb of Denver, and contains endless activities. In Denver, there are numerous outdoor activities available in every season, including hiking, biking, rafting, skiing, and snowboarding. There are also incredible restaurants, breweries, festivals, and farmers’ markets to explore.
At VRCC, we take the health and well-being of our employees seriously, offering flexible working conditions and encouraging a well-rounded work/life balance. We offer a great compensation package, including a competitive salary, health insurance, 401K, PTO, generous CE allowance, additional PTO for CE, and reimbursement for membership and license fees. If this sounds like a team you want to be a part of, please email your resume to Dr. Meredith Robbins at mrobbins@petvetcarecenters.com or apply at https://www.petvetcareers.com/.
