New England Veterinary Center and Cancer Care in Windsor, CT is seeking an experienced Emergency Veterinarian who is committed to our mission of providing the most advanced veterinary care for our patients while exemplifying integrity, compassion, capable decision making, and great communication. We currently need coverage for overnight and swing shifts and we are offering an extremely competitive compensation package including a $25,000 sign-on/retention bonus and we are happy to consider both NEW GRADS and experienced DVMs!
NEVCCC is a rapidly growing multi-specialty, emergency, and general practice in North Central Connecticut that opened in 2011. We are a full-service practice, offering a wide range of services from general wellness care to emergency and specialty referral services, including internal medicine, surgery, medical and radiation oncology, and a board certified radiologist to review radiographs and CT scans. Our 8,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility includes digital radiography, color flow ultrasonography, a 16 slice helical CT scanner, video endoscopy/bronchoscopy, and a linear accelerator for radiation therapy. We also have three fully equipped surgical suites.
The Windsor area is conveniently located only 8 miles from Connecticut’s major airport and 7 miles from Connecticut’s capital - Hartford. It is conveniently situated between NYC and Boston, making both an easy 2 hour drive. Windsor boasts amazing restaurants, parks and festivals. With over 40 registered historic places, this picturesque town has lots of history to explore.
