Asheboro Animal Hospital has been serving the community of Asheboro, North Carolina for several years. We have a beautiful 7,000 sq. ft. facility with 6 exam rooms, separate dog and cat waiting areas, indoor runs for dogs, and cat condos for our feline friends. Each month, we host a rabies clinic for the community. We also welcome school and explorer groups to visit the hospital to learn about careers in veterinary medicine.

We are excited to add a Lead Veterinarian to our team! There is an opportunity to see a wide variety of medical and surgical cases, build your own clientele, and become a part of our local community. We are happy to consider veterinarians with strong leadership experience or less experienced veterinarians with goals of leadership in the future.

The Lead Veterinarian serves as the medical leader of the practice, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment that results in an excellent treatment experience for the patients and clients we serve, as well as an excellent employment experience for the practice’s patient care team.

The North Carolina Zoo is just south of Asheboro and is one of the largest natural-habitat zoos in the world, home to hundreds of animals from North America and Africa. Downtown Asheboro has a vibrant community center that has unique shopping, local restaurants, and a variety of art! The historic Sunset Theatre is also located downtown, and is a great place to see a movie or local concert!
