The University of Florida (UF) is seeking a qualified laboratory animal veterinarian to serve as a Clinical Veterinarian for the University's Animal Care & Use Program. The successful candidate will join six other laboratory animal veterinarians and approximately 140 support staff in a diverse and dynamic, AAALAC-accredited research institution which cares for a large variety of animals (dogs, cats, cattle, horses, mice, rats, rabbits, chickens, reptiles, guinea pigs, pigs, fish, frogs, etc.) housed in over 200,000 gross sq. ft. of laboratory animal facilities. UF is a major research institution with over $900 million in research per year. The Clinical Veterinarian is a full-time, non-tenure track faculty position reporting to the Associate Director and Attending Veterinarian.
