We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Veterinarian to work full-time at our Plano, Texas Wellness Center, Tuesday – Saturday.
Our Wellness Centers provide high quality preventive and wellness pet care services including diagnostic testing, vaccinations, preventive medications, microchipping, nail trims and wellness exams.
As a PetIQ Veterinarian, you will get the satisfaction of providing necessary care for pets without the pressures of a full-service veterinary environment. Whether you are a recent graduate or a seasoned Veterinarian looking to further advance veterinary care in our communities, we would like to connect with you.
Responsibilities:
Perform physical examinations and blood testing; administer vaccinations, nail trims and microchips
Consult pet owners on nutrition, preventive healthcare and general care
Maintain relevant, comprehensive medical records
Provide mentorship to veterinary support team by communicating PetIQ medical standards, ethical practices, and your knowledge and experience
Continuously strengthen and build the PetIQ brand
Attend monthly staff training meetings
Other duties or functions as assigned
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an AVMA-accredited veterinary school
CA State license to practice in the profession
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
