We are looking for a confident veterinarian with excellent communication and clinical skills to join our practice Family. Our case load is 85% percent companion animals, 15% exotics, reptile and avian. Interest in non-traditional species is preferred but not required. Our practice philosophy is to provide excellent diagnostic, dental, medical, and surgical care for our clients and patients. We are patient-centered and tailor our care to the needs of each individual case. Our clients are well educated and expect the best possible care for their extended family. Magnolia is growing, and offers the ambiance of quiet, country living, excellent schools with easy access to Houston. We are also close to The Woodlands where you can find great food, quality entertainment and shopping.

AHAA Accredited practice seeking FT Veterinary Associate
Have FUN at work! We are a growing companion animal and exotic practice in centrally located Magnolia, Texas. We are looking for a confident veterinarian with excellent communication and clinical skills to join our practice Family. Our case load is 80 percent companion animals, and the rest is divided between birds, reptiles pocket pets and the occasional potbellied pig. Interest in non-traditional species is preferred but not required.
Our practice philosophy is to provide excellent diagnostic, dental, medical, and surgical care for our clients and patients. We are patient-centered and tailor our care to the needs of each individual case. Our clients are well educated and expect the best possible care for their extended family.
We are in Magnolia, Texas. Magnolia is a growing suburb offering the ambiance of quiet, country living with excellent schools combined with easy access to the hustle and bustle of Houston and College Station. We are close to the cultural mecca of The Woodlands which offers various attractions, dining, and shopping options year-round.
Our practice is paper-light with a compl...ete cage side Idexx lab suite. We have digital radiography, portable digital dental radiography, ultrasound, and rigid endoscopy to facilitate patient care. Our radiographs are routinely reviewed by a radiologist. Our services include client education, dentistry, acute medical and surgical care with age-appropriate medical support. We use a traveling surgeon for complicated surgical cases and orthopedics and refer complicated medical cases to one of the nearby specialty practices. We have an experienced and capable support staff including licensed veterinary technicians and certified veterinary assistants to support you and encourage continued education of all staff members.
Our new Associate will be expected to work 4 or 4.5 days weekly. We do not see after hour emergencies as there are several convenient emergency clinics nearby. DVM or equivalent from AVMA accredited veterinary school, current Texas unrestricted veterinary license, DEA license and USDA (United States Department of Agriculture) category 2 accreditation are required. We provide membership to AVMA, MCVMA, PLIT, TVMA and VIN. We offer PTO and have a generous CE allowance. We also offer participation in our employee medical, dental and vision plans and the employer sponsored 401K plan.
Mentorship is available for new graduates. Salary is negotiable as a fixed salary or pro-sal depending on experience. Relocation assistance is also negotiable.
