Paws and Claws Animal Care is a veterinary hospital in beautiful Lake Havasu City, Arizona! We are currently seeking an Associate Veterinarian with an interest and passion in small-animal care. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm. Closed Saturdays and Sundays, no emergency duty required! ER duty available if desired. 4 day work week/work-life balance. $10,000 signing bonus! Paws and Claws offers a competitive salary of $120,000-$140,000 based on experience, 401K, AVMA, PLIT, AZ license, AzVMA, DEA, health insurance, continuing education, personal time off, 4 day work week, mentorship, and support team! We have a full IDEXX in house laboratory, use IDEXX NEO software, digital radiology, Mindray ultrasound, surgery suite, dental suite, digital dental radiographs, Mindray WATO EX-35VET anesthesia machines, ventilators, Midmark dental machine, patient warming, IV pumps, ETCO2 anesthesia monitors, Synder ICU Oxygen cage, dental loupes, TonoVet, nebulizer, and are constantly obtaining the latest in veterinary equipment!  Lake Havasu City is an actively social community with lots of festivals, lake activities, numerous special events, stock car races, night life, great dining, and of course the 26-mile long lake! It is not an uncommon sight to see a dozen hot air balloons overhead. Lake Havasu City is both a resort area with lots of young adults, as well as a retirement community, but regardless of the demographics of our locals, our favorite thing is being able to provide excellent care to the community’s collective population of pets!
