When you join our team, you will be working closely with our Medical Director, Dr. Carolyn Saylor and a great team of experienced small animal clinicians. Dr. Saylor has 28 years of experience as a veterinarian and a strong interest and extensive experience in internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, emergency medicine. She has completed certification Ultrasound through Sound Veterinary Ultrasound academy and has been a practicing sonographer for over 15 years. She has also completed additional dental training through the NAVC institute and Endoscopy / Rhinoscopy training with Todd Tams, DVM, ACVIM. She enjoys mentoring new veterinarians and in her previous practice, participated in mentorship programs of high school students, veterinary technicians, and veterinarian new graduates. In her free time, she is an active outdoor enthusiast and enjoys hiking, river rafting, mountain trail riding with her horses, and traveling especially to National parks. She is an amateur landscape photographer and lives on a small working farm in Eatonville with husband, 2 dogs, 2 cats, 2 horses, and a small herd of angus beef cattle. She has recently joined our established veterinary team and is thrilled to be a part of this wonderful doctor team. We have two additional veterinarians with Ultrasound training, two with extensive experience in dentistry and one doctor that performs many orthopedic procedures and is happy to share his extensive knowledge. We also work closely with boarded specialists that travel to our hospital.
