Greenwood is looking for experienced individuals to join our Animal Care Team, whose responsibility is to lead and mentor our Animal Care interns and volunteers, as well as feed and care for the thousands of wild mammals and birds (babies and adults) that we get annually.
Requirements: To qualify, applicants must have previous experience in wildlife handling and care and/or rehabilitation. Candidates need to be good with people and possess skills such as wildlife handling techniques (for songbirds, squirrels, waterfowl, rabbits, or raccoons), cleaning and disinfecting procedures, habitat enrichment, natural diets, food preparation, and feeding methods.
Greenwood Wildlife Rehabilitation Center is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that is devoted to the
rehabilitation and release of orphaned, injured, and sick wildlife. We are the largest wildlife rehabilitation
center treating mammals, birds and waterfowl on the Front Range. We treat thousands of animals annually
and over 200 different species have come through our doors since we were founded in 1982.
