IndyVet is a growing, progressive, emergency and specialty hospital that embraces a culture of mutual respect and teamwork and provides outstanding client service. Our specialists and associate veterinarians are collaborative, our support staff is skilled, and our management team is supportive. We operate as a friendly, cohesive team that approaches each case together. Our unique culture in combination with our 30,000 sq ft state-of-the-art facility allows us to provide the highest quality of veterinary medicine to our patients and their owners. At IndyVet, every day we aim to simply be better; better than we were the day before, better than what we think is possible.
We are searching for a committed doctor with similar objectives to join our emergency team. Our emergency doctors enjoy every other weekend off with long stretches of days off in a row. Our hospital is busy, and experience is helpful, however, if you have little experience, but are enthusiastic about emergency medicine, we can provide a great training opportunity for you.
Indianapolis is a great place to work and live. With 2 million residents, Indianapolis has big city amenities with a small town feel and an excellent cost of living ratio. IndyVet offers an exceptional compensation package including salary, signing bonus, production bonus, continuing education allowance, full benefits package, and an excellent schedule.
Please visit our website, IndyVet.com, to take a virtual tour of the practice and meet our staff. If you share our vision and want to be a part of a team that is continually striving to become something better, we would really like to meet you.

NVA Overview:NVA is a growing community of general practice clinics, emergency hospitals, equine practices, specialty hospitals, and pet resorts across five countries. Our doctors and pet care teams share best practices, medical knowledge, innovation, and insights. This collaborative approach allows each individual practice and pet resort to do what they do best: service their local community with compassionate, best-in-class care and medicine, to enhance the lives of the animals they love while backed by the support, stability, and leadership of NVA.
Compassion-First and NVA recognize that we share deep-rooted values and priorities. For years, our dedication to Specialty and Emergency medicine has been a common background.
Our groups have long shared the belief that the best patient care comes from championing hospitals in their local communities and supporting the practices and culture that have made them successful. We believe in empowering veterinarians and their teams with deeper resources so they can do more of what’s already working.
Combining our strengths gives us the opportunity to make a lasting and positive impact on the profession, our people, and the care of animals.
As one of the only dedicated Specialty and Emergency groups in the industry, NVA Compassion-First is the trusted partner of hospital teams who are looking for more—more resources to advance their medicine, a greater sense of belonging, and increased opportunities to care for their patients, clients and people.
