Conover Veterinary Hospital is a Small Animal/Exotics practice in Conover, NC. The practice was established in 1988. In 1995 the practice grew from a merger with another local established veterinary practice. The facility was expanded in 1991 and 1996. This partnership has flourished and allowed the Hospital to become one of the largest in the county. With the retirement of one of the partners, the hospital is now under sole ownership. The owner strives to continue to develop staff and client education, and has added equipment and technology to improve our medicine and the facility. Conover, NC is located in Catawba County which is an active, hospitable rural community approximately 45 miles NW of Charlotte, NC in the Piedmont Foothills. There are numerous recreational opportunities, an active arts community and many wonderful community service organizations. Within less than an hour's drive we can enjoy the active metropolitan life in Charlotte or Winston-Salem; or the quieter, more secluded natural atmosphere of the beautiful NC Mountains. A weekend at the coast is also a manageable drive.
