Affordable Pet Care Basse is looking for an exceptional veterinarian to join our 2-doctor, soon to be 3-doctor practice! We have been caring for pets since 1987 and are in beautiful San Antonio, TX!

Affordable Pet Care Basse is committed to veterinary excellence. We love animals, and it shows in our care. We currently offer a number of excellent veterinary services, including a variety of surgical services, internal medicine, pet dental care, and advanced diagnostics, all in addition to the general pet health care services expected from an animal hospital. We are striving to create a one-stop veterinary service practice for all of our clients and patients.

Our patients deserve expert care. We are a busy 2 doctor practice, well equipped with digital X-ray, dental X-ray, and in house lab equipment, looking to expand and add a 3^rd doctor as well as the number of species we care for. We are well established in the community and take excellent care of our patients and clients. We are looking for a veterinarian who can stay calm under pressure, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and can juggle a busy schedule of appointments and walk-ins. Preferably someone who is Bilingual (Spanish/English). We are seeking someone who is confident with soft tissue surgeries and ideally also be well versed in dentistry. We are looking to expand our services so someone who has experience with or an interest in pocket pets and/or exotics would be ideal. We are currently in the process of becoming certified as a Fear Free hospital.

San Antonio’s character is a colorful blend of Mexican and Texan culture. It also has the River Walk, the Alamo, SeaWorld, and Six Flags. The city also offers an eclectic food scene, from Tex-Mex cuisine to BBQ to farm-to-market food.

We are seeking an Associate Veterinarian to work four days per week as well as occasional Saturdays.
