Emergency/ICU Veterinary Technician
Full-time swing shift, days, overnight available!
Our ideal candidate:
Minimum of 2 years' experience as an Emergency or ICU veterinary technician required, CVT preferred but not required for day and swing shift.
Self-motivated

A Certified Veterinary Technician is required for our overnight position only.
Skills/Requirements:
Previous ICU/ER Veterinary Technician experience
Familiar with common disease processes that present to emergency service with an understanding of treatments and medications associated with their care.
Strong medical math skills. (Including being able to calculate fluid rate, common CRI's and multimodal drug infusion.)
Able to obtain Blood pressure, ECG, Sp02, and ETC02 and integrate clinical signs with disease processes to assist doctors in early and appropriate intervention of patient care.
Comfortable utilizing digital radiography machines to acquire images using proper technique and positioning.
Prepare animals and instruments for surgery
Provide surgical assistance and post-operative care
Administer medications, and treatments prescribed by a veterinarian
Surgical Veterinary Technician
Our Ideal Candidate:
Has a minimum of 2 years' experience as a surgical veterinary technician
CVT is required for this position
Is self-motivated with good communication skills
Has experience running diagnostic imaging (CT/Radiology)
Skills/requirements: We are searching for a team player with strong veterinary technical skills, including, but not limited to:
Ethical (diplomatic, courteous, professional)
Able to observe the behavior and condition of animals
Provide superior nursing care or emergency first aid to recovering or injured animals
Comfortable with anesthetic patient monitoring of ASA I-III but preferred experience with ASA I-V
Familiarity with the use of ventilators (preferred)
Familiar with common orthopedic and soft tissue surgeries and post-operative care
Able to obtain Blood pressure, interpret basic ECG, Sp02, and ETC02, and integrate clinical signs with disease processes to assist doctors in early and appropriate intervention of patient care
Collect laboratory samples, such as blood, urine, or tissue, for testing
Perform laboratory tests, such as urinalyses and blood counts
Comfortable utilizing digital radiography machines to acquire images using proper technique and positioning
Prepare animals and instruments for surgery
Administer medications and treatments prescribed by a veterinarian
Collect and record patients' case histories
Provide surgical assistance and post-operative care
Neurology Veterinary Technician
Our Ideal Candidate: • CVT is required for this position
Skills/requirements: We are searching for a team player with strong veterinary technical skills, including, but not limited to:
Familiar with common disease processes that present to the neurology service with an understanding of treatments and medications associated with their care
Strong medical math skills. (Including being able to calculate fluid rate, common CRI's and multimodal drug infusion)
Able to obtain Blood pressure, ECG, Sp02, and ETC02 and integrate clinical signs with disease processes to assist doctors in the early and appropriate intervention of patient care
Comfortable utilizing digital radiography machines to acquire images using proper technique and positioning
Prepare animals and instruments for surgery
Provide surgical assistance and post-operative care
Strong anesthesia / surgical monitoring skills in high-risk patients
Interest in advanced cross-sectional imaging
Experience in MRI and CT is highly valued, but we are also willing to train in these modalities
Administer medications, and treatments prescribed by a veterinarian
