We are a 2-doctor small animal practice originally founded in 1937 and a staple in our community serving families generationally.  Recognizing and valuing the importance of the relationships between humans and animals we are proud to be passing our 85^th year. We pride ourselves on being able to offer our patients and clients the convenience of specialty-level care, whenever appropriate, right here, without additional travel and expense.  We're happy to provide training for advanced procedures and support the advancement of personal career goals.  

One of only two practices in the area offering laparoscopic procedures, Christensen Animal Hospital is locally owned and operated. For us, locally owned means we have the flexibility to make changes quickly and appropriately for our doctors, staff members, clients, and patients. We also have a responsibility to our community to represent them well and support them through community engagement. Our team culture is one of healing, camaraderie, and reward. Our successful candidate has great people skills, is focused on quality care, and excels at ensuring client satisfaction. Our associate will practice general medicine and surgery with current equipment of the highest quality. There is a potential for future ownership, but this is not a requirement for employment. We are a 2-doctor, exclusively small animal practice that specializes in providing high quality, compassionate and convenient care for our patients. We recognize the importance of the relationships between humans and animals and we see our clients and patients as extended family. We are a full service practice that provides many services such as wellness examinations, immunizations, surgery, radiology, ultrasound and an in-house laboratory. Our surgical center is equipped with five different lasers, endoscopy, laparoscopy and digital radiography.
