On Point Veterinary Services is a privately owned, hospital, focusing on canine-centric care. That’s right! Dogs only! Our building features large exam rooms, a rehab suite, in house BW, digital dental and full body rads, US, etc. We strive to follow AAHA standards and are pursuing AAHA certification. Our hospital is within walking distance of numerous restaurants as well as the river.  Our culture is one that promotes a high quality of life as well as high quality medicine.  We schedule long appointments to allow for comprehensive workups.  We have an entirely web based EMR system making note taking a breeze (our techs write most of your notes for you).

Hamilton, MT is located on the banks of the beautiful, blue ribbon, trout fishing, Bitterroot River. We have gorgeous, warm summers and fairly mild winters.  Hamilton is a science mecca supporting a cutting edge research facility (Rocky Mountain Labs), a pharmaceutical giant (Glasco Smith Kline (GSK)) and coming to town in 2023 is Tonix (a vaccine developer). Got a significant other? They won't have trouble finding work here. We have a beautiful, historic downtown with wine bars, a distillery and two breweries. We have top-rated schools and a family-oriented community that hosts numerous community events and activities. A beautiful bike path goes through the heart of our town and further into our beautiful, mountainous valley. We are surrounded by hiking, fishing, skiing and hunting opportunities. The “big city” of Missoula is a short 40 mile drive away and offers referrals to two emergency veterinary hospitals and a veterinary specialty hospital. Missoula also has an international airport and is home to the University of Montana.

Compensation/Benefits:

• 105K base + Production for DVMs >2 years of experience. NO negative accruals, production paid monthly.   
• Tuesday-Friday work week (3 day weekends for the win!). NO on-call/after-hours or holiday hours.  Last appt is at 4:30 pm.  Because we deserve dinner with our families too.

• 4 week paid sabbatical opportunity! 
• Motivated new grads encouraged to apply!  Base salary for new grads 85K + production. We have a skilled technical team as well as a wonderful front desk team and hospital manager to help support you. We also have a comprehensive mentoring program to get you started on the right foot.
• Our practice owner is certified in physical therapy and we are very interested in adding acupuncture to our practice!
