Emergency Veterinary Hospital is looking to welcome a Full-Time Criticalist Veterinarian (1.0 FTE) to our team and our rapidly growing hospital! The Emergency Veterinary Hospital is expanding and will include 3,000 square feet for specialty.
Our Hospital and Benefits:
In 1978 the Emergency Veterinary Hospital saw its first emergency case. In 1996, we opened our current hospital and in 2006 we began seeing patients 24 hours a day. And now, in 2022, we are entering a new era with a brand-new hospital, new services, and a bright future ahead of us.
The Emergency Veterinary Hospital is a family-oriented practice that works hard to build a culture of collaboration and wellness. Our goal is to enable all of our doctors and support staff to practice in an environment that fosters quality of life, professional development, and excellent care. We have been AAHA accredited since 2008 and our commitment to these standards enable our associates to practice the best quality of medicine they know how. Our hospital boasts a robust mentoring program to guide associates with less experience in the ER field.
We offer a fully-equipped diagnostic laboratory, cutting-edge surgical facilities, digital radiography, and ultrasound. We have a CT prepared to bring into our new facility and the door is open for much more! In addition to our current ER offerings, our boarded dental specialist provides advanced dentistry services to the community.
With our expansion, we hope to bring many additional emergency veterinarians and specialists into our family. You will be working closely with our team including our Medical Director, Dr. Max Rinaldi. Dr. Rinaldi, was raised in Nevada and received his DVM from Kansas State University, graduating in 2012. Dr. Rinaldi then spent a year in a rotating Internal Medicine and Surgery Internship at Washington State University in Pullman, Washington, followed by a year internship in Exotic Animal Medicine and Surgery at Louisiana State University. Dr. Rinaldi's professional interests include emergency and critical care, emergency surgery, and exotic animal medicine. He is a member of the Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society and the American Veterinary Medical Association.
