Small animal associate veterinarian wanted for a well-established AAHA accredited hospital located in Central Illinois.  We have been designated a Feline-Friendly practice by the American Association of Feline Practitioners. Responsibilities include surgery, preventative medicine, prescribing medication, specialty diets, and veterinary products while supervising and directing ancillary staff.  In addition, the associate may be called upon to direct, assist, or perform procedures related to patient care and treatment.  Our hospital offers modern equipment including digital imaging, endoscopy, ultrasound, in-house lab analyzers and isoflurane/sevoflurane anesthesia.  We offer a wide range of therapies including acupuncture, Platelet Rich Plasma, as well as Phovia light therapies. We use Avimark veterinary software for electronic medical records and are a paper-light practice.

Our talented group of approximately 20 employees between 2 locations consists of 4 full-time DVM, licensed veterinary technicians, a certified veterinary practice manager, and several excellent veterinary assistants and customer service specialists.  Staff is split between our two locations Germantown Hills Animal Hospital in Germantown Hills, IL and Washington Veterinary Medical Clinic in Washington, IL. We take pride in the fact that our staff has been with us for many years and look forward to adding many more!  We require continuing education for all staff and value their input in our ongoing effort to serve our clients and their companions to the best of our abilities.  We enjoy serving our community, and we take seriously our responsibility to educate and promote the human-animal bond.  With a focus on preventative care, we emphasize wellness and well-being for a long happy healthy life for both our patients and our staff!
