Our hospital is seeking a full-time Principal Doctor to lead Skagit Animal! Skagit Animal Clinic prides itself on being a neighborhood practice providing the gold standard of care to the pets of the Mt Vernon and Burlington area. We provide all the tools and support you need to lead a high-performing team.

Located in the hub of the Skagit Valley, Skagit Animal Clinic is in an ideal centralized location to go north to Canada, east to the North Cascades, south to Seattle, and west to the water! Including, The San Juan Islands, Deception Pass, and Whidbey Island.

Skagit Animal Clinic was established in 1955 and has offered quality pet care for almost 70 years. Because of this, we have the honor of serving our clients and pets who are third and fourth-generation, so they are family.

The Principal Doctor (PD) oversees and is accountable for all aspects of the hospital and ensures a high quality of veterinary care, client service, employee well-being, and productivity of the veterinary medical team.

The PD provides:

• An effective and efficient hospital environment.
• Medical quality.
• Business performance of the hospital.

The PD leads and guides a group of paraprofessionals to ensure the hospital meets safety regulations set by the DEA and OSHA and adheres to the veterinary medical board requirements per their state. The PD will also partner to promote and participate in outside hospital events.
