Arrow Animal Urgent Care is looking for an exceptional DVM to join our team!

We are the first privately owned, stand alone urgent care clinic in the Seattle area. The owners, Dr. Laurie Wieringa and Dr. Beth Guerra, each have over 20 years of veterinary experience, both in emergency and general practice. They envisioned a clinic with a well trained, efficient staff, available in house diagnostics, and excellent patient care to serve a community in need. They believe in compensating their staff well, providing a fun working environment, and allowing for a good work/life balance. Arrow Animal Urgent Care opened in January 2022 and is rapidly growing. 

Arrow Animal Urgent Care is open until 8pm every day, closed on major holidays. We have in house CBC/chem, UA machine with sediment analysis, I-stat, microscope, digital radiography, and portable ultrasound. We see patients on a walk in basis and in order of arrival. Our case load is very diverse, and on a daily basis we treat everything from ear infections to GI disease, and perform sedated procedures for cases like abscesses and lacerations. We refer any patients needing hospitalization or major surgeries. True to our urgent care model, we do not provide routine preventative care or perform spay, neuter, or dental procedures. 

The experienced staff at Arrow Animal Urgent Care also has a varied background both in emergency medicine and primary practice, and our staff to doctor ratio is high, allowing us to see many more clients per day than the usual appointment model.

Arrow Animal Urgent Care is a privately owned small animal urgent care that opened in 2022. We have 4 full time doctors and a total of 24 employees (including doctors, support staff and part time employees). We are open 7 days a week, with the exception of Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s day.
