Grantview Animal Hospital is a small animal veterinary practice in a southwest suburb of St. Louis. We are continuously growing and looking for another part-time veterinarian to add to our team! We currently have three full-time doctors, as well as a full staff of positive, hard-working technicians and receptionists. Our hospital has been established in our community for more than 50 years, and many of our clients remember our original founder. With this longevity of clientele, there is a long-standing relationship of trust and respect between clients and our doctors and staff; we really do have the best clients! Although we have a small footprint, we are focused on providing a fear-free and cat-friendly environment for our patients. The average doctor to technician ratio is a minimum of 1:2 (often 1:3), and our appointment blocks are 30 minutes for well and sick appointments. Grantview is located in St. Louis County, near picturesque Grant’s Farm. We are 20 minutes from downtown St. Louis, with easy interstate access to downtown, South County, and West County. Grantview Animal Hospital offers: Generous compensation package Flexible work schedule (only one Friday and one Saturday shift per month) Continuing education allowance Excellent benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance plan options, as well as short and long-term disability 401(k) retirement plan In-house laboratory equipment, digital radiographs, digital dental radiographs, Doppler blood pressure, and hand-held portable ultrasound Easy referral to several 24-hour emergency and specialty facilities in the area No boarding or on-call duties Caring colleagues – work side-by-side with other veterinarians daily for support and collaboration Supportive staff to help you with your caseload and provide the best care for your patients If you are looking for a positive work environment where you are supported and appreciated, we are the clinic for you!
Blue River PetCare's mission is to provide a long-term home for local practices that selling owners have worked so hard to build. We are dedicated to retaining the culture of each of our hospitals in addition to the local practice of medicine. We do this by ensuring each hospital has complete medical autonomy with their choice of protocols, therapies, inventory items, vendors and even management software. We also focus on our employees’ health and well-being as much as we do the pets we treat. We would love to hear from you!
