We are seeking a veterinarian to join our independently owned, long established, busy 2+ doctor companion animal practice located in a small town in southwest Colorado. We welcome all levels of experience including new graduates, who we will mentor and support.  We offer a lot of opportunity for exposure to many different kinds of cases and new learning experiences. We ask that our candidate, whatever your experience level, come with a positive, enthusiastic attitude, willing to learn and collaborate with other doctors on staff, be friendly and respectful toward clients and our staff and be a flexible team player. We provide up-to-date equipment and are always willing to answer the need for something not currently in house. We work with the doctors and technicians on those requests. Graduation from an accredited School of Veterinary Medicine, Colorado License to practice, Ability and stamina to deal with our larger, more rambunctious critters.

About Bayfield Animal Hospital

Bayfield Animal Hospital, established 43 years ago, is a doctor-owned small animal hospital located in a small southwestern Colorado town with 2 full time and 2 part-time doctors currently on staff. Support staff consists of 5 technicians and 4 receptionists plus kennel and cleaning help. We are open Monday through Friday, covering most of our own out-of-hours emergencies. We see quite a few emergencies during normal office hours and have a large number of challenging cases. Our clientele is loyal and expect (and receive) our best efforts where their pets are concerned! This practice is located within Bayfield's town limits.
