We are looking for an Associate Veterinarian (experienced or newer grad) to join our team at The Animal Hospital on the Golden Strip.
Our practice currently treats dogs and cats however if you have a different skill set that you’d like to bring to the table, we’re open! We feel we do many things well but if we had to highlight a few it would be the ability of being very capable. Our technician team is out of this world and make our doctors lives very manageable throughout the day. We also handle end of life care impeccably and care deeply about our community. Our typical schedule is a 4-day work week with no on call, but we are flexible to your needs.
We have been quite busy with a move and promoting one of our own into the Managing Veterinarian role. A few highlights of our new location: 2-table surgery suite, 2-table dental suite, 6 exam rooms, comfort suite, state-of-the-art ultrasound, laser therapy, Idexx in-house lab, and separate cat and dog waiting areas.
We’re most proud of the professional support, development, and mentoring we offer. You will flourish in our environment as someone who’s eager, motivated, and even a little entrepreneurial. Let’s grow together and build the practice of our dreams!
Our Managing Veterinarian, Dr. Weiner, would love to chat if you’re contemplating a change of employers. Reach out today for an exploratory conversation or something more serious. Visit us at https://www.theanimalhospitalonthegoldenstrip.com/about-us .
We offer a competitive salary and bonus program. Extra incentives such as signing bonus, relocation assistance and retention bonus to name a few. Our hospital serves the Lycoming and surrounding counties in Pennsylvania. 50 minutes from State College. 90 minutes from Harrisburg, 120 minutes from NYC and Philadelphia. If you’re not from the area but open to relocation, we can discuss options. Stuck in a contract? There are options. Stuck in a lease? There are options.
