We have an immediate position for a full-time Veterinarian at our two doctor, modern, well- equipped, full-service hospital in Jacksonville, NC. Excellent and experienced support staff with two and sometimes three vet assistants per veterinarian. Mentoring recent graduates is a pleasure, not a task. One of our docs did a three year residency in clinical pathology and he is more than happy to help you with hematology, blood chems, urinalysis and cytology. The other doc is a proficient surgeon.
We are not open on the weekends and after hour emergencies are handled by an emergency clinic located within the same professional office park as our hospital.
Jacksonville is a friendly , affordable coastal city near world class beaches and national and state parks and forests. Outdoor activities both on the water and land abound. Wilmington is one hour away and a two and a half hour drive will get you to Raleigh, NC State, UNC and Duke and all the big city activities that you could handle.
