VCA Alameda East Veterinary Hospital is seeking an experienced Associate Veterinarian (Urgent Care) to join our tenured DVM team in Denver, Colorado.
We are looking to add to a doctor focused in Urgent Care, who welcomes the challenge of meeting the highest standards for quality and performance, possesses a friendly, positive, inclusive, and collaborative attitude, and who enjoys the teaching environment! This position will provide a 4-day work week.
Urgent Care includes patients that are in obvious mild to moderate discomfort and/or showing clinical signs that concern the owner, non-life threatening. Examples would be patients with small wounds, inflammation of the skin/ears, lameness, injury, non-ambulatory, fever, gastrointestinal disorders.

We are a 24/7 AAHA accredited Specialty, Emergency, and General Practice hospital in majestic Denver, CO, just a quick drive from the mountains. Our specialty services include critical care/emergency, surgery, neurology, dermatology, internal medicine, oncology, cardiology, rehabilitation, and diagnostic imaging/radiology. Our hospital is equipped with a 1.5 T MRI unit on-site, 64-slice CT with 3D reconstruction, digital radiography, GE ultrasound unit, critical care support, and more.

Compensation negotiable based on credentials and experience, number of shifts, length of shift, and additional responsibilities, annual salary starting at $90,000 - $120,000.
