Candidates should be proficient in diagnosing and treating companion animals.  Comfort in basic surgical skills is also required.  There is an opportunity to see and treat exotic species, mostly pocket pets, if interested.  Good communication skills, being able to work in a team environment, an empathetic approach to our clients, and a sense of humor is a must.
