AVECCC - Peoria is looking for a leader who seeks to constantly improve the standards of patient care with the ultimate goal of improving patient outcomes. They would be responsible for leading the staff doctors and partnering with the Medical Director and board-certified emergency and critical care specialists to oversee the medical services in the ER while promoting an environment of teamwork, compassion, and quality. This position will work closely with the Technician Supervisors, Hospital Director and Medical Director to achieve hospital goals.

We are an extremely busy VECCS Level 1 Emergency and Critical Care hospital, with a large focus on staff training and development. We strive to practice the highest quality of medicine while growing the next generation of veterinarians and veterinary medical staff. A robust rotating internship and emergency and critical care residency program are in place and house officers are overseen by their respective leader.
