Located between Tampa and Miami on Florida's Gulf Coast, Fort Myers has been recognized as one of the fastest-growing places in the US. The city has always attracted vacationers for its year-round warmth and white sand beaches. The weather is always perfect for outdoor activities, but there is also plenty to do exploring the historic downtown, as Fort Myers is home to the largest number of historical structures in Southwest Florida. There is an endless amount of shops, restaurants, and activities!
Our hospital is proud to be part of the American Veterinary Group (AVG) of hospitals. AVG owns and operates 130+ veterinary practices throughout the Southern United States. As a hands-on operator of hospitals, we know that people make the difference between a good practice and a great practice. We pride ourselves on encouraging our practices to make medical decisions at the local practice level. As such, we do not provide any company-wide medical protocols and rely on the expertise of our teams to make decisions that best serve their clients and teams. All of our practices are unique - from our small animal companion general practices, to our UrgentVet locations, and our mixed animal and equine practices. We would love to discuss our current openings with you further to see if you might be a good fit for our team!
