Required Education:
DVM or equivalent
We are looking for a veterinarian to oversee our shelters spay and neuter program and provide clinical services for shelter animals. We are looking for someone to provide leadership and technical expertise for policy and decision making, and to work with our shelter staff to achieve our goals and objectives in executing our mission to improve the lives and outcomes of our community’s homeless and abandoned animals.
Salary or hourly rate available. Reasonable flexibility of schedule can be accommodated.
Position requires a current South Carolina veterinary license, DEA license, SC Controlled Substance License, and active USDA accreditation, the ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail, proficiency in the restraint of dogs and cats, and the ability to handle a physically and emotionally demanding job. Prior surgery experience is required.
