Associate veterinarian (DVM or equivalent degree required) needed for modern, computerized small animal practice (almost entirely dogs and cats). Excellent communication skills are essential to provide great medical care and great service to our clients. Must be proficient at internal medicine, surgery, and dentistry and able to work independently as well as with colleagues. Licensure to practice veterinary medicine in the state of North Carolina also required. At least one years of experience in veterinary practice is desirable but not absolutely required for consideration.
Our animal hospital offers you the ability to deliver an advanced level of medicine while retaining a personal feel. We are privately owned, not corporate, and offer personal choice and flexibility in treating your patients while upholding high standards of care. We are equipped with digital radiography (DR), ultrasound, surgical laser, in-house laboratory, high speed dental unit, and well equipped surgical suite. We also maintain a stable and well-trained staff to support the veterinarian and improve efficiency and level of care. Our doctors work a daytime schedule of four days per week with no weekends, no after-hours work and no emergencies, to allow plenty of time for family or to explore our beautiful area. We are a three-doctor practice (looking to fill third position).
