About the Hospital:

• May Veterinary has served the pet community of Tuscaloosa and Northport, AL for over 50 years. We are passionate about what we do, and we take care of your pet as if they were part of our own family.
• We are a family-owned practice, founded by Dr. A. Wayne May in 1964. Dr. May’s sons, Dr. Waller May and Dr. C. Guy May, joined their father in 1989 and 1991 respectively and have successfully managed the clinic since then.
• Although we operate two locations, the May Veterinary team is one big family and we are proud to continually support our community.

• 4-day work week with occasional weekend for boarding pets only
• A dedicated surgical suite, treatment area with onsite labs and paperlite records
• Sister hospital has onsite ultrasound, laser therapy and animal daycare

Our Ideal Candidate:

• Candidate must be a graduate from an AVMA accredited college or have successfully passed the ECFVG certification program or the PAVE certification program
• Able to occasionally work at both locations
• A passion for providing high levels of clinical care
