Many of our employees have been with us for over 20 years. Spacious, immaculate, state of the art ergonomically designed hospital by award winning veterinary architect. Progressive and well equipped with in-house ultrasound and 5 full time certified ultrasound technicians on staff, endoscope, in-house IDEXX  lab, digital radiography and digital dental x-ray, in-house Therapeutic Cold Laser, endoscopy, surgical vessel sealer, rhinoscopy, cystoscope, Oxygen cages, isolation ward, enormous sterile surgical suite, high speed dental suite, fully digital, paperless practice. Looking to add acupuncture and other alternative therapies. Our staff is highly competent, friendly and very helpful.  Our veterinarians are encouraged to practice medicine as individual professionals. Our doctors are encouraged to work up their cases at their discretion. No corporate bean-counters will tell you how to practice medicine. Plus, we have a great team of doctors that love to collaborate, mentor and support each other.

Education and Experience requirements:

DVM or VMD with Current NYS license. New grads are very welcome.

Dr. Stephen Katz and his wife and veterinary technician, Nicole Katz, opened Concourse Animal Hospital in September 1995. The practice quickly gained a reputation of being honest, caring and compassionate and outgrew the original facility rather quickly. In 2009, Dr. Katz and Nicole opened Bronx Veterinary Center on Webster Avenue, the largest and most medically advanced practice in the Bronx. Bronx Veterinary Center treats dogs and cats as well as birds, reptiles, ferrets, pocket pets and other small exotic pets. We offer complete veterinary wellness services, including exams, vaccinations, microchip identification, allergy care and more. We also offer diagnostic, surgical and dental care as well as boarding and grooming for your pet.
