Fox Valley Animal Hospital of Crystal Lake, Illinois is seeking a full or part time Veterinarian proficient in small animal medicine and surgery. We currently have 3 full time veterinarians and 1 part time veterinarian. Small mammals and exotics are optional and a small part of our practice. Our multi-doctor practice offers digital radiography (full body and dental), dentistry, ultrasound, Cornerstone software and integrated in-house Idexx lab equipment for blood work and urinalysis. We also have a new Cutting Edge Cold Therapy Laser which helps with a variety medical treatments and increases the level of care at Fox Valley.

Our full time benefit package includes health insurance, disability, life insurance, liability insurance, 401K, licensing and dues, as well as paid CE (3 days and $1500) and paid vacation.  We also offer development programs for new graduates and associates through our corporation Blue River Petcare.  There is a $30,000 sign-on/relocation bonus; salary is commensurate with experience and can be negotiated either production or non-production.  (Schedule is flexible and full time benefits start at 30 hours per week.  Part time hours are available and flexible as well and can be discussed.)  

Our community offers two beautiful lakes for swimming, boating and fishing.  There are also several nature trails and dog parks nearby and a bike trail within minutes from the practice.  Crystal lake has its own Raue Center for the Arts for music and cultural fans, and our community is abundant with shopping centers and restaurants. Crystal Lake is also conveniently located on the Metra train route from Harvard to the city Chicago, making it easy to commute downtown.
