Pinellas Animal Hospital is a growing company, with a positive work culture; our team is a solid group of dedicated professionals who practice cutting edge quality medicine, while striving to deliver the best care for our patients and clients. We have been serving our community for 50 years and have a long-standing client base.

We are a busy 6 doctor, small animal practice, with 30 support staff (6 of which are CVT’s, 2 of which are CVA’s), located in Pinellas Park near St Petersburg, Florida.  Benefits include a simple IRA retirement plan, group health insurance, liability insurance, professional dues, and continuing education opportunities/conference attendance. 

Our team of 6 Veterinarians take a collaborative approach to cases to provide the highest quality of care to our patients. Our senior veterinarians and recent graduates have a combined 126 years of extensive experience practicing medicine and are all eager to mentor and share their experience with the right candidate. We offer state of the art small animal medicine and surgery including ultrasound, digital radiographs, and digital dental radiology. Our hospital has complete in-house Idexx lab machines. We are paperless and utilize Cornerstone computer software.

Pinellas Animal Hospital is looking for a full-time Associate Veterinarian. Two years post graduate experience in small animal practice is preferred but not necessary, along with the ability to work well within a team, possessing strengths in the following areas:

1. A focus on effective client communication, with a genuine interest in small animals, up to and including birds and/or limited exotics (although not necessary).
2. Experience in general surgery, ultrasound, digital dental radiology, and a working knowledge of the latest veterinary technology would be advantageous.

You will be supported by a well-trained interactive team, with full protocol familiarity.
