Virginia Tech’s Marion duPont Scott Equine Medical Center (EMC) in Leesburg, Virginia invites applications for a 12-month rotating internship starting in or about January 2024. Intern responsibilities will include rotating between the internal medicine, sports medicine, surgery, emergency and anesthesia services, as well as assisting as needed in the nursing/patient care and imaging departments. The intern will participate in hospital rounds and case discussions.  In addition, the intern will rotate in the after-hours emergency and critical care schedule.  The hospital director will coordinate the intern’s schedule and a designated faculty member will advise and mentor the intern to set professional goals and achieve clinical proficiency in a broad range of disciplines. The inter
