Treasure Valley Veterinary Services is seeking an exceptional small-animal veterinarian to join our team. We are a progressive, mixed practice based in southeastern Oregon, just a stone’s throw from the Oregon/Idaho border. Our team of 1 mixed animal and 3 large animal doctors service clientele throughout the Treasure Valley in Idaho, northern Nevada, and eastern Oregon. Companion animals (dogs, cats, equine), local cow/calf ranches and feedlots comprise much of our day-to-day business. The associate veterinarian will be expected to work in established areas of our practice but also encouraged to develop his or her own interests as a veterinarian through support from the business.
Facilities provided by the veterinary practice:
Our brick-and-mortar clinic is currently located in Nyssa, Oregon, where we provide small animal medicine and surgery, with a few large animal haul-ins. We are in the process of building at a new location in Caldwell, ID. This will allow us, not only to serve our current clientele, but to expand as a practice and better serve the growing community in the Treasure Valley. This location will include a small animal clinic with a large animal facility, along with a boarding house.
Practice strengths and emphasis of the business:
Treasure Valley Veterinary Services was started in 2017 to meet the needs of the rapidly growing Treasure Valley region. The practice was purchased from the previous owner, Dr. Robert Derby, who served the area for almost 40 years. Although we primarily provide routine small and large animal services, the diversity of our practice has developed as we expand to match the interests of those we employ. We encourage associates to be both self-starting and passionate about their clients and the services they provide. Therefore, we prioritize supporting development of new skills that allow our associates to accomplish their professional goals.
Practice Area:
While being based in the Treasure Valley in Nyssa, Oregon, our practice services clients in Idaho as well as Northern Nevada and Eastern Oregon. The Treasure Valley offers the amenities of big city life while being rich in agriculture and a rural/western lifestyle. Our proximity to the greater Boise area allows easy access to high quality small animal referral hospitals.
